peter schmidt invented the "oblique strategies" in 1975 to avoid dead
end streets in creative situations or to follow them willingly. the
original version was a deck of 100 cards subtitled "worthwhile
dilemmas" to be used by chance. this click-for-brainstorm generator was
modified and extended from the version david ray offered on the enoweb
